Woah it's been two long years since posting! Time flies really quickly. After taking a look at my posts that I had written in the past, I realised my english was horrible :P but no worries, at secondary 4 going on 16 i'm sure my writing would be much better!

Anyway, my previous blogskin had a weird error, so I changed it to this simple skin. Can't really be bothered getting an elaborate looking one as it'll just make this page look messy, in my opinion. Apart from changing blogskin, I added a music playlist to share some good music with you guys so do check it out :D

School just started today and it's not so intimidating, YET. Wait till the various project deadlines get closer and everybody will be working their ass off. English biography presentation, social studies documentary, RE, and random chinese stuff: enough to keep you busy every night rushing to complete them.

IN ADDITION, i've got a few gigs coming up soon too. This saturday there's a performance for Music Clef which i've yet to prepare. The third week of this term is going to crazily packed as well as i've got an acoustic performance in the hall on the 3rd of July and FFAF on the 6th. PLUS, practice for RAGE XIII's band item and of course for XD as well which will take up most of my weekends. Thank goodness there's going to be a holiday on the 11th of July to complement the excellent sporting results in the 1st semester, and following that will be APCG Youth Summit which means a "one week break", although I bet teachers would load us with homework.

I guess I'm going to be really busy busy busy for the 1st part of this term.. ah but what's school without being busy right? Alright I think I shall end here. Until next time!

today was the U-14 One-Fun-Day Water Polo Competition. haha sounds so stupid. anyway the tournament was held in Queenstown Swimming Pool, next to this football stadium. then there was this big sign outside the football stadium "GOMBACK UNITED FC" yellow background, red words. like watford the hornets xD

met yin rong and zhuo yang's father got to fetch us to the pool. CSC, SSA Bedok, AC Barker, HCI, National Women's Team and RI are the teams that participated. most of the team are sec 1s to let them gain some experience before the upcoming nationals in march. pay, ben ooi, zhuo yang, yin rong and i were the only sec 2s. OH AND THE SHE MAN WAS THERE LA WTF! NOW GOT PAI KIA BLONDE HAIR PLUS MORE TATOOS!!! AND WE WERE DRAWN WITH THE WOMEN'S TEAM FOR THE 1ST MATCH! haha all our sec 1s were scared like shit. but luckily they didn't send their 1st team, so the she man was the keeper, but still quite ownage. in the end we won by a goal by kenneth that hit the left post and went in in the last 30 seconds. won 3-2. but still the sec 1s really damn hopeless, they dont know how to get into position properly and all the basic stuff like where to go for mansack also dunno.

next match was CSC, i got to play for a bit of the 2nd quarter (one game has only 2 quarters -_-) and scored 2 (: one backshot and one 5m. then in our final against HCI they totally pwned us. ryan the goalie always damn lag then dun pass when someone supports, and waste a lot of time. THEN BEN OOI MISSED A ONE ON ONE!!! ah then i also blast a 5m shot. haha learn from tat wai. in the end got 2nd place and 300 bucks TYR vouchers. i think mr lim go use to buy goggles. the store goggles all broken or too small xD

next match is on friday against malacca team which we played during our polo trip. i guess i'm looking forward to it so i can get more experience and more training before the christmas break, when training stops till next january. i really dont know what i'm gonna do at home for the next week and a half. stay at home and clear homework or just hog the xbox :P sigh, not like some people can go out everytime.

watched deja vu with my father at great world. the show was awesome. the fact that everything would stll end up the same is damn cool, like deja vu. you change one thing but everything ends the same. and there are many cool phrases they use. must watch!!! so much better than eragon. sorry jerald xD

Monday (today)
JUST TOOK OFF MY F***ING BRACES!!!! WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! no more metal in my teeth!!! now i have one week to enjoy life without braces, then i have to put on my retainer to preent my teeth from moving out of position. after 2 long years, the irritating metal in my mouth is gone! yay!!!

oh and i'm going for the U-14 competition with the sec 1s on wednesday!!! can't wait to thrash them xD but the pool is next to quenstown MRT which is 13 stops from my house -_- around 40 to 45 mins i think... or longer. it starts at 9AM some more. i'll definitely be looking forward to that.

Back from Malacca Trip!!! The trip was pretty short - only 4 days and 3 nights, but I felt that we were able to bond more with the sec 3s during this short stay in Malacca and we all had a great time.

The trip wasn't really a training trip since out of the 4 days, we only entered the pool twice to play a game against the KL youth team and the malacca youth team, and for the rest of the days was for shopping and watching EPL at night (:

We had to meet at 6.45am (zzz) at the RJC carpark. We had to play our 1st match at 12.45pm which was directly after the long, draggy and tiring bus ride. We were playing the KL youth team, which had very good ball control but no speed (sounds like soccer xD). We were like all damn tired but managed to match up to them. Their centreman was really really really strong. Most of the guys in the team were 16. Only one of them was 14 and he said he was going to ACS I next year. In the end we won about 14-11.

After the match we checked in. I was sharing room with JIN SEI, kai yu and yin rong. We stayed in Makohta Hotel. Quite decent. After that was shopping eating and slacking. I bought a belt (RM5), wallet (RM20), shirt (RM25), mr bean teddy bear (: (RM10), Manu badge and Chelsea key chain (forgot the price haha).

2nd day had match against Malacca Youth Team in the morning. similar to the previous match. won but not sure with the score.

At night me, yin rong and kaiyu went to bra, tom, wank and jian ying's room to watch MANU vs CHELSEA. Saha scored with a beautiful left foot shot just outside the semicircle. Carvalho scored with a header from a corner by Lampard. Manu should have won and should have got a penalty. Drogba was pulling on rooney's shirt before he passed to saha who missed, the ball floated to ronaldo but he missed also.

Next day we had morning PT. 220 pushups, 200 crunches. After that mr lim booked the tennis courts to do what? PLAY SOCCER HAHAHAHAHA. split into 4 teams. 2 teams play on one side of the court. my team got owned like shit, lost both matches. FREE TIME FROM LUNCH TO DINNER. Later at night was just shopping at chinatown. bought a cool skeleton shirt for RM10 i think and Robbie Williams' album Rudebox for RM5. ah they had FOOTBALL MANAGER 2007 AT RM5 but no time to buy, the bus was already waiting when i wanted to buy. damn wasted.

Watched videos of our matches in bra's room yesterday morning, followed by tennis court soccer again (: haha we owned bra's team 9-3. Me and fats scored hat trick! damn satisfying. haha then we watched CLICK on the bus trip back. SUPER FUNNY! and at the customs jin sei got caught for bringing chewing gum and pirated CDs.

that's for the malacca trip, i'll put pictures later on.

Today me, jian ying, david, wank, bra, kaiyu, brian he, went to the arena warehouse sale. wah damn CHEEP la. one pair of trunks is $9!!!!!! less than half price of the usual price you find in arena shop!! I bought one green, purple, navy blue+orange and blue trunks, plus one dri-fit shirt, a sleeveless dri-fit shirt and 3 pairs of shorts. total: $72.50.

Jiao Lian called off training today to let us rest. training continues at toa payoh 9am. back to reality. I really wish we stayed in Malacca longer, maybe we could have training, that would make the trip more enriching and fun. most of all, we can bond as a team for next year's b div.

Another band discovered by me!
This band's called Fightstar. Anybody in the poster that looks familiar? The guy in front is former Busted member CHARLIE SIMPSON. He's damn damn damn good. Can sing, play drums, piano, guitar and does song writing with Tom Fletcher (McFly lead) and James Bourne (former Busted member, now Son Of Dork lead) when Busted still "existed". I was just looking up wikipedia and searched busted to find out whether charlie simpson was in any band. That's after I heard his live solo performance "Why" on youtube (: His voice is damn unique and damn pro at instruments too. So I discovered FIGHTSTAR. haha immediately went to get their songs. Today had match vs Indonesian Youth Team. Jian ying said that they thrashed ACS I 20-6 so everyone was quite scared. The sec 1s played against the Indonesian Women's Team. I'm not sure with the score but i think we won. Anyway we only played 1 and a half quarters with the Indonesian Youth Team because of the weather, but they were very strong, leading by 5-1 until the "end" of the match. I didn't get to play at all, only the sec 3s played for that short time. screw the rain.

today went to watch Casino Royale. not a bad show but david craig looks damn old... the stunts are amazing, the 1st part especially, and the part where they play poker also quite nice. i recommend this movie to watch, but there's gonna be another one after casino royale. oh and the soundtrack is quite nice. last night chelsea won west ham 1-0, manu came from behind to win sheffield united 2-1 with wayne rooney scoring a brace (two goals). ARSENAL DRAW WITH NEWCASTLE 1-1 AT HOME. haha, Kieran Dyer scored for newcastle and Thierry Henry equalised with a stunning freekick. MIDDLESBROUGH 0-0 LIVERPOOL. not surprising. liverpool has the worst away form in the premier league, worst than sheffield united haha.

ah, whole body aching now. yesterday had crazy PT. 100 push ups 100 crunches but got some variation. we did 10 sets of 20. Jiao lian told us to do close arm push ups for about 3 sets and also asked us to do v snaps. oh ya got this set he ask us to do this exercise where you lie down and your arms and legs raise up at the same time. **** damn freaking pain haha. then got ths other drill i dunno how to explain haha.

have to go for tuition now.

ah yesterday's training was quite tiring. swam 2km then did crazy shooting. jiao lian was like damn pissed and want us to swim and shoot damn fast, ah that's b div training i guess. later played 4 on 4. wah seh got owned like shit. never even got to attack. then after that did some shooting then went home... it doesn't seem very intense but it was really quite tiring.

today morning played some tennis with my new racket. not bad but cannot get used to the new racket. later going to s11 to eat lunch with polo mates and go training. dammit everything afternoon it looks like it's gonna rain. hope it doesn't rain again today.

stupid yuda go prefect camp. damn waste time la. the itineary is exactly the same as our sec 2 Malaysian Montage. stay same hotel, do same things, just with a smaller group. next saturday is polo trip already. 25th nov - 28th nov, gonna play with malaysian youth team, indonesian youth team and HCI (again -_-) Can't wait man!

Back 2 Blogging

After all the frenzy over the common test and post CT stuff and a lot of other stuff which i will talk about in this post, I decided to go back to blogging. It's just damn boring during the holidays. anyway I forgot all my links so those who want links you can tag at the tagboard (:

ok 1st big event that happened was Rafflesian Spotlight. During the period of 29th October to 4th November I was really very busy. Had to choose a song and get the minus one (karaoke track, if you still dunno what's karaoke, it's just a track with the background music, without the singer's voice which is really hard to find). Also, the soloists had to prepare for a group performance to open the concert which cost $4. Anyway I managed to find a website that had minus ones to many songs, just that you need to pay, but I just went ahead with it. Luckily the Spotlight committee said they will give back the money. Helped Ye Wei, Zou Long and Nicholas to get their minus ones. haha if any of them gets prize must thank me, which one of them did (but i shall not say now). During this period also slept quite ate to practice my song. I decided to sing Westlife's Mandy. So I managed to settle my solo performance by 30th October. Then we also had to choose a song for our group performance to start the show. We originally decided on Blue's One Love but could not find the minus one. The committee recommended Toploader - Dancing In The Moonlight but it was a boring song. In the end we chose Maroon 5's This Love. On the night of the performance, everyone did reasonably well, but not to their best as we rehearsed. I actually forgot one line of the 1st chorus of my song!!! I wasn't really nervous, it was just at that moment i forgot, but after that I think I was ok. Ye Wei sang Rueben Studdard's version of Flying Without Wings, Nabil sang Clay Aiken - The Way, Wen Jun sang Shayne Ward - No Promises, Zou Long sang Westlife - When You Tell Me That You Love Me, and Nick Chong sang Enrique Iglesias - Hero. The judges were Law Hock Ling, Martina Ong and Sharon Wok. Martina Ong is like a Randy Jackson in American Idol, she's quite neutral and her comments are quite good. Law Hock Ling is so like Paula Abul, his comments to everybody were like "Amazing!", "Great!", and also say we should sign for contract in recording company. too lenient. Sharon Wok's comments were the best. She wasn't afraid to be nasty and she was really frank and spot on when commenting on our performance. The open category was really enjoyable. 1st was eugene and yin rong. He sang Naked - Raining On The Sky and Yellowcard - Roughdraft while eugene played guitar. quite boring but yin rong sang well. Next performance was some band called MusikUnfall. They performed Velvet Revolver - Fall To Pieces and Bon Jovi - You Give Love A Bad Name. The vocalist was flat and off but the drummer was damn pro! he spinned his stick in the middle of the song, you know like you spin your pen when you are bored. Then the 3rd band Squirrels On Probation!!! DAMN FUNNY!!! The vocalist like gay and cannot sing, then the drummer stone through the whole performance. The guitarist was quite pro. They peformed Maroon 5 - She Will Be Loved and Guns and Roses - Sweet Child Of Mine. The 4th group was some dance group called JYS Funk. Pro dance but boring. LAST PERFORMANCE WAS THE BEST!!! The Boyahs (weiwen, daniel, ali, some prefect haha) are some comedians that are damn funny! they perform this comedy which is really really funny. Now I shall tell you the results. For solo, i got 3rd (damn lucky considering i forgot lyrics), Nick Chong got 2nd (well expected when you see how many girls he brought to support him), and Wen Jun got 1st! (he brought a lot of guys and girls haha). For the open, MusikUnfall got 3rd, SQUIRRELS ON PROBATION GOT 2ND, and THE BOYAHS got 1st haha. quite expected anyway. So this is it for Rafflesian Spotlight.

Also during the past week, we had U-16 competition also. 1st match vs Chinese Swimming Club. Didn;t play but thrashed 27-3. Then later we played Great White Club, won 12-something. i forgot the rest of the scores haha. we got 2nd place in the end. Combined Schools got 1st.
